Manual Grinders required for day or night shifts with this established company that is being revitalised by new owners. The roles involve working on Jones & shipman Universal Grinders to do internal and external grinding producing often complex or intricate aerospace parts. Responsibilities: – Operate manual grinding machines. – Set up and operate Jones and Shipman grinding machines. – Read and interpret blueprints and engineering drawings to determine grinding requirements and specifications. – Inspect finished components for accuracy and quality, ensuring they meet precise tolerances. – Perform necessary adjustments to machines to achieve desired specifications. – Maintain a tidy and safe work environment, adhering to all health and safety regulations. – Report any equipment malfunctions or processing issues to supervisors for resolution. – Collaborate with team members to optimise production efficiency. Requirements: – Proven experience with universal grinding techniques. – Competency in operating and setting up Jones and Shipman machinery. – Strong ability to perform both internal and external grinding tasks. – Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and blueprints. – Keen attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality work. – Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work under minimal supervision. – Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
