Location: Based close to Bury St Edmunds, Suffolk

Working hours: Wednesday to Saturday - Thursday to Saturday Fixed shifts - Day shift - 6am - 6pm Night shift - 6pm - 6am

Capacity of role: Temporary to Permanent position

Rate of pay: Up to £14.75 per hour whilst training and up to £16.26 per hour for day shift and up to £21.02 per hour for nights

Our client is currently recruiting for a number of machine operator based staff to join their busy workshop based team. Candidates will ideally need to have worked within a similar based role and will be sound with mechanical based practices.

Main duties will include:

  • Working with machinery, setting and operating
  • Following instructions working to customer specifications
  • Inspecting finished product, recording data on a database and completing relevant written documentation
  • Packing components, wrapping inner boxes and adding labels to packaging as required
  • Working to company specifications and reporting any product defects to management
  • Assisting with making machine adjustments as required
  • Good housekeeping duties
