Linux /VMware Consultant

Responsibilities: * Assess client requirements and design Linux / VMware solutions that meet their needs * Providing Level 3 support for Linux and VMware issues, conducting root cause analysis, and implementing long-term solutions. * Architecting and implementing VMware solutions for enterprise environments, including vSphere, ESXi, and vCente * Managing and troubleshooting Linux servers (RHEL, CentOS, Ubuntu), including installation, configuration, and performance tuning. * Implementing security best practices for Linux and VMware environments, including system hardening and vulnerability management. * Using scripting languages like Python or Bash to automate tasks, manage infrastructure, and optimize performance * Working with cross-functional teams to integrate Linux and VMware solutions within the broader IT infrastructure. Skills: * 5+ years of experience in Linux and VMware environments . * Strong Linux administration skills: (e.g., Red Hat, CentOS, Ubuntu). * Expertise in VMware vSphere, ESXi, and vCenter . * Proficiency in scripting languages: (e.g., Python, Bash). * Experience with virtualization concepts and best practices . * Knowledge of networking concepts and storage technologies: related to VMware. * Experience with cloud platforms is desirable . * Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills . * Excellent communication and collaboration skills . …
