Project Liaison Officer required for a 1 year contract role, working on behalf of our client, a major engineering and construction company, to be based at their project site in Wales.We are looking for candidates with at least 7 years experience as a Liaison Officer working on major engineering projects, including public relations with local authorities. You must have the capability to manage relationships with local stakeholders, and be able to assist the company representatives in responding to their concerns & requests. Knowledge of Welsh local authorities would be extremely beneficial.Responsibilities:Address inter-organisational issues raised by local stakeholders to the relevant department to propose an action planManage complaints raised by local community and represent the company during meetings to propose a compromisePromote good relations with local government and other entities affected by our projectContact local immigration organisations and other authorities for the issue of visas or other permits necessary to work in the countryLiaise with the local work regulation organisations and other offices to facilitate local work activitiesCollect the data necessaryto implement local logistics allowing local activities to be open as required
