We are recruiting on behalf of our client, a reputable automotive company, for a skilled Level 3 Vehicle Technician to join their experienced workshop team in Thurleigh. This is a great opportunity for someone with a passion for vehicles to play a key role in delivering high-quality services and repairs.
Key Responsibilities:- Perform general vehicle servicing and maintenance
- Carry out tyre changes for various vehicle types
- Conduct road tests and ramp inspections as required
- Complete all repairs in line with approved methods to restore vehicles to their original condition
- Manage time effectively to ensure tasks are completed on time and to the highest standard
- Diagnose faults on vehicles and conduct electrical diagnosis when necessary
- Handle warranty repairs according to manufacturer standards
- Complete all relevant documentation and ensure adherence to company procedures
- Previous experience as a Vehicle Technician / Mechanic
- City & Guilds or NVQ Level 3 qualification (or equivalent) (essential)
- Full UK Driving Licence (essential)
- Ability to support junior technicians
