Bridge Recruitment is helping one of our established clients recruit for an experienced Quality Engineer to join their ever-expanding team. As the Quality Engineer you will oversee the quality control processes within the manufacturing environment.
Responsibilities of the Quality Engineer:
- Quality Improvement
- Implement formal quality control procedures based on best practices.
- Define shop floor processes and procedures in collaboration with operational teams.
- Identify and implement new processes and equipment to enhance production efficiency and cost-effectiveness.
- Ensure compliance with ISO9001 standards.
- Investigate and report non-conformances and customer complaints.
- Carry out internal audits and support supplier audits in collaboration with purchasing teams.
- Monitor supplier quality performance criteria and ensure adherence to set standards.
- Manage and control equipment calibration.
- Collect and analyze quality performance data, including reporting in management review meetings.
- Monitor and support continuous improvement initiatives through data-driven insights.
