Lead Java Developer | Oxford – £120kJava, Springboot, Rest APIs, Microservices, TDD, DevOps, CI/CDA global leader in scientific publishing and data is hiring a Lead Java Engineer to lead the design and implementation of cloud-native & event-driven systems.With nearly 160,000 members across the industry, and over £555million in revenue, they are now looking to expand their UK team with some industry leading talent.As a Java developer, this role will focus on building scalable enterprise integrations using AWS, Java, and modern API frameworks like AsyncAPI and OpenAPI. The ideal candidate will bring deep expertise in cloud architecture, orchestration, and infrastructure automation with tools like Kubernetes and Terraform.You’ll be driving the backbone of a mission-critical platform that powers seamless system communication and workflow automation across a complex digital ecosystem.Tech stack includes: Java, Springboot, Microservices, Python, AWS, CI/CD, AWS, REST apis, TDD, and agile.Salary in the range of £100k – £120k, based in Oxford (hybrid), 8% pension, health and dental insurance, 25 days holiday and two stage interview process.Interested in learning more?
