A leading insurer is looking to hire an Insurance Lawyer with UK regulatory experience on a 6-month contract. The client is looking to hire a contractor with a minimum of 3+ years of experience to provide legal support to their UK legal team. In this role, you will focus on insurance legal matters across Marine, Aviation, Energy, Construction, and Credit Lines.
The ideal candidate would have a background in private practice or in-house experience advising on UK insurance regulatory frameworks, and experience in drafting insurance agreements. This is an ASAP start, 6-month contract and is hybrid working from the client's City office.
Responsibilities:- Draft and review various agreements including:
- Delegated Underwriting Authority (DUA) agreements
- Terms of Business Agreements (TOBAs)
- Facility Agreements
- Claims Handling Agreements
- Binding Agreements
- England & Wales qualified, or common law qualified.
- Minimum 3+ years of relevant insurance legal experience
- Experience in UK insurance regulatory matters
