An exciting opportunity has arisen for an Import Logistics Coordinator within a well-established Export Logistics Department. Key Responsibilities:
- Import Operations: Oversee the import process, including sourcing, repairs, and return material authorization. Collaborate with key stakeholders such as carriers, freight forwarders, and customs brokers to optimize the importation workflow.
- Customs Compliance: Maintain up-to-date knowledge of customs regulations and trade compliance requirements. Manage the Inward Processing Relief (IPR) process from Return Material Authorization (RMA) to the final Bill of Discharge. Prepare and submit accurate customs clearance instructions and required documentation. Work closely with import brokers to resolve any issues and ensure full compliance with import regulations.
- Documentation & Record Keeping: Organize and maintain detailed shipment records for auditing and compliance purposes.
