One of Norse South East's most successful departments is our Workshop Division, which offers a range of mechanical services across the East Hampshire district.
We have an excellent opportunity for a Workshop Fitter to join our depot in Havant. This position will require you to work 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday. No weekend work or late shift work is required, offering a great work-life balance.
The role:
- As Workshop Fitter, you will be responsible for the upkeep of the company fleet of LGV and HGV vehicles ensuring all vehicles are serviced, maintained and repaired in accordance with Operators Licence requirements.
- You will also prepare vehicles for annual tests, road test vehicles to certify roadworthiness and attend breakdowns on a rota system.
This is an exciting role for an experienced fitter looking to develop and share their expertise with a knowledgeable team.
Our ideal candidate:
- NVQ L3 in Heavy Vehicle Maintenance and Repair, or equivalent, necessary.
- Category C+E Driving Licence.
- Class 2 licence desirable.
