Groundsman Location: QUEEN ELIZABETH HOSPITAL,DELIVERY POINT B, STADIUM ROAD,WOOLWICH,LONDON,SE18 4QH Working Hours: 40 per week (Start Time 8am) Pay Rate: £15 per hour Key Responsibilities: * GARDENING Current PA1 &PA6 knap sack spraying licence for weed control * Carry out general grounds maintenance duties including mowing, trimming, weeding, planting, watering, and feeding of plants. * Maintain sports pitches, parks, gardens, and other outdoor areas. * Operate and maintain grounds maintenance equipment such as mowers, strimmers, blowers, and hand tools. * Clear leaves, rubbish, and debris from pathways, roads, and landscaped areas. * Assist in setting up and dismantling sports and event facilities as required. * Ensure the safety and security of grounds areas by regularly inspecting for hazards and reporting issues. * Carry out minor repairs to fences, gates, benches, and other outdoor furniture. * Apply fertilizers, pesticides, and herbicides safely and in accordance with regulations. * Maintain records of work performed and materials used. * Comply with health and safety regulations and company policies at all times.
