Overview: My client, a global leader in Ground Support Equipment (GSE), is actively seeking qualified Mechanics with EU passports who are open to relocating to the Netherlands for a 1-year contract or permanent role. This is a fantastic opportunity for experienced heavy vehicle technicians to enter the aviation sector and work in a high-profile international airport environment.

The Role: You will maintain and repair a wide range of airside support vehicles and equipment, including both diesel-powered and electric GSE.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Routine servicing and inspections of GSE (loaders, stair trucks, towing vehicles)
  • Maintenance of electric airport vehicles and buses
  • Mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical fault-finding and repair
  • Reading and working from technical diagrams and manuals
  • Responding to breakdowns and carrying out unscheduled maintenance
