Overview

The Regional Manager will have responsibility for the operational and financial performance of our clients South East Freight Forwarding Operation providing leadership to the business. Working with the General Manager for the UK, the Regional Manager will establish, implement and monitor the long-term strategies, goals, objectives and plans across all areas of operations.

UK International freight forwarding, customs broking and logistics services sector experience is essential. This role demands a strategic approach that is innovative and focussed on continuous improvement, whilst being underpinned by a strong commercial acumen.

Responsibilities

  • Managing all operations for southern branches within the guidelines established by the General Manager UK; this requires frequent visits to all southern locations.
  • Drive and implement commercial strategy focused on profitability, market expansion in Greater London and surrounding areas and Key Account retention.
  • Developing and executing branch-level strategies that drive Net Profit improvement through rigorous financial oversight, with particular focus on proactive management of WIPS.
