Their continued pipeline of secured work now requires the support of a knowledgeable and experienced Freelance Quantity Surveyor. Your new role Our client is seeking a capable and commercially astute Freelance Quantity Surveyor to support their drylining projects on a contract basis. You'll be responsible for managing the commercial aspects of various schemes, from procurement and tendering through to final accounts, ensuring projects remain financially on track. Responsibilities will include: Preparing tender submissions and contract documentation Procuring subcontractor packages and negotiating favourable terms Monitoring project costs and valuing completed work Managing variations, valuations, and payments Forecasting budgets, tracking spend, and reporting to directors Liaising closely with project managers, clients, and suppliers Managing subcontractor accounts, including payments and disputes Assisting in the preparation of final accounts Ensuring projects co…
