The predicted salary is between 36000 - 60000 £ per year.

To deliver the complete installation, maintenance, and commissioning of fire detection and security systems, including fire-rated hose reels, in accordance with all relevant standards and legislative requirements. This role ensures the provision of a safe, compliant, and high-quality service that meets or exceeds client expectations. The engineer will provide technical expertise across the team and ensure projects are delivered on time and within budget.

  • Install, commission, and maintain fire detection and alarm systems, CCTV (IP and analogue), intruder alarms, access control, and emergency lighting.
  • Install, test, and maintain fire-rated hose reels in accordance with BS EN 671-1:2012.
  • Conduct fault finding and remedial work on existing systems.
  • Maintain clear and accurate records, including commissioning certificates and test results.
  • Proficient in using Microsoft and various in-house software packages, have basic IT networking knowledge, able to use manufacturer software tools to complete IP networking.

QUALIFICATIONS & PROFESSIONAL MEMBERSHIPS:

  • FIA Unit 1-5 or equivalent.
  • NVQ Level 3 in Fire, Emergency & Security Systems (FESS).
  • ECS FESS Gold Card.
  • IOSH Working Safely or equivalent.
  • BS7858 Enhanced Security Screening.
