Field Service Engineer – Fire Alarm SystemsMidlands (Field Based)£35,000 – £37,000 + Company Vehicle + Tools + BenefitsFull Time, Permanent Monday – Friday, 8:30am – 5:00pmWe are looking for a skilled Field Service Engineer to join our maintenance team, working across the Midlands region. This is a field-based role where you’ll play a key part in servicing and maintaining fire alarm and fire safety systems for a range of customers.You’ll be responsible for carrying out planned preventative maintenance (PPM), responding to callouts, fault-finding, and completing system modifications while ensuring compliance with BS5839 standards.This is an excellent opportunity for someone who is motivated, technically confident, and enjoys working independently in the field while still being part of a supportive team.Key Responsibilities Carry out planned preventative maintenance on fire alarm and fire safety systems.Respond to emergency callouts and breakdowns in line with customer Service Level Agreements (SLAs).Diagnose faults, complete repairs, and carry out system modifications.Produce accurate service reports and ensure all documentation is completed in line with company procedures.Identify non-compliances and additional work requirements, feeding back to management.Support other …
