We are currently recruiting a Factory Operative to work within an engineering company to work nights on a permanent basis in the Medway area. You will have used small hand tools and be happy working in an industrialised environment.
Your main duties will include:
- Processing of parts as instructed
- Filing of castings/moulded parts using hand grinding tools
- Shot blasting
- Manual Handling
- Moving boxes of castings around the factory and general housekeeping
- Completing the relevant job cards
You will be working 46 hours per week, 6.00pm to 6.00am, Monday to Thursday, however, initially you will be working the day shift for training purposes, 6.00am to 6.00pm, Monday to Thursday.
£12.36 per hourly rate whilst training on days. £14.21 per hour after training for night shift.
Previous factory/manufacturing experience would be advantageous however not essential as full training will be provided. The company offers free parking and opportunities for career advancement.
