Im searching for a Pre-Construction Manager to join an established new build housing business in Merseyside with the hook being that you, as a skilled Estimator, will really grow into the Pre-Construction role using your existing knowledge and increased skillset. Wouldnt it be great to say your work has really influenced a business on a true end-to-end process rather than just Estimating? And it wouldnt just be for this year, or next year, or the year after that youll be creating a strategic plan for their business wins for many, many years to come. Thats good, right?Whilst the Estimating function does exist in this business, theyre at a critical point where they need and have capacity for growth. Youd come in, initially making a quick impact in the dual role of Pre-Construction Manager and Estimator, working with both the Construction Director and Commercial Director, whom youd be working alongside as the main point of contacts.Some of the important bits theyd want you to do are where the growth would be:Review tender packages and form a strategy will we bid or not?Lead the bid process youll be the single point of contact for all the involved teams, including working periodically with the land teams on feasibility.Bills of Quantities they really want to develop this within the business (previous Estimators have only done high level budg…
