Leading Building Services Consultancy are expanding their management division. Widely recognised as one of the fastest growing M&E consultancies and covering work solely in the North-West, they currently require 2 Estimators from either a Mechanical or Electrical background to produce detailed estimating proposals for a range of sites including:

  • Schools and Educational establishments
  • Retail outlets
  • Hospitality venues
  • Government buildings

Duties of the Estimator to include:

  • Tender and Bid Preparation, analysing drawings and tender documents then preparing detailed, accurate costings including materials, labour, and subcontractor requirements.
  • Use estimating software or Excel to compile material/labour lists.
  • Supplier and Subcontractor management to obtain and evaluate quotes from suppliers and subcontractors and maintain competitive pricing.
  • Undertake cost and risk analysis and provide senior management with market evaluations and proposals at pre-tender and post-tender meetings.
  • Produce clear and comprehensive estimate reports and proposals.

Estimator experience required:

  • 5+ years working as an Estimator within a Building Services or FM Environment
  • Previous technical qualifications (Electrical or Mechanical) beneficial but not essential
