Leading Building Services Consultancy are expanding their management division. Widely recognised as one of the fastest growing M&E consultancies and covering work solely in the North-West, they currently require 2 Estimators from either a Mechanical or Electrical background to produce detailed estimating proposals for a range of sites including:
- Schools and Educational establishments
- Retail outlets
- Hospitality venues
- Government buildings
Duties of the Estimator to include:
- Tender and Bid Preparation, analysing drawings and tender documents then preparing detailed, accurate costings including materials, labour, and subcontractor requirements.
- Use estimating software or Excel to compile material/labour lists.
- Supplier and Subcontractor management to obtain and evaluate quotes from suppliers and subcontractors and maintain competitive pricing.
- Undertake cost and risk analysis and provide senior management with market evaluations and proposals at pre-tender and post-tender meetings.
- Produce clear and comprehensive estimate reports and proposals.
Estimator experience required:
- 5+ years working as an Estimator within a Building Services or FM Environment
- Previous technical qualifications (Electrical or Mechanical) beneficial but not essential
