EMC Test Engineer

Job DescriptionElement has an opportunity for an EMC Test Engineer with a strong focus on RF wireless testing to join our team in Surrey Hills, Guildford. As a member of the operations team, the primary function of the EMC Test Engineer will be to focus on conducting compliance testing (setup, measure, and document results) on a wide variety of products while interfacing with customers on a daily basis. The most common radio products include, but is not limited to, 802.11 abgn, BT, Cellular radios.Candidates possess an understanding of the following standards: IEC 60601-1-2, ETSI EN 301-489-1, EN 300 328, EN 301 893, ANSI C63.10, RSS-GEN.Core Responsibilities:Conduct a variety of EMC and RF tests which includes setting up test equipment and customer equipment, performing testing to applicable standards or test plans, and accurately documenting the testing process and outcomeUnderstand customer test plans and how to properly follow laboratory technical procedures and test specificationsSetup test equipment and follow written specifications necessary for the proper performance of the testMaintain in-depth knowledge of test standards, product test procedures, and instrumentationAccurately observe and records test progress and results.
