We are working on behalf of a leading National M&E contractor who are in need of an Electrical Project Engineer/ Project Manager to join them on a permanent basis in Leeds. The role would see you covering projects across their Leeds office, including sectors such as Education, Leisure, MOJ and Commercial. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a well established, yet growing National company, turning over close to £500m. Within this position you would be joining a highly experienced team within an extremely supportive and friendly culture. Job satisfaction, security, and progression are big selling points for this role. You would be looking after up to 3 jobs at a time with the exposure to exciting, large scale sectors.
Responsibilities:
- Overseeing of pre-construction design.
- Checking of design drawings and value engineering where possible.
- Attending progress and design team meetings.
- Preparing and monitoring of Contract programmes and progress reports.
- Procurement of plant and materials in line with specification, drawings and cost plan.
- Procuring and managing of subcontractors.
- Preparing cost forecast and recording/ costing of variations.
