Mactech is currently looking for a Construction Logistics Area Lead to be based in Bridgwater near the HPC project. The Logistics team delivers overarching command and control as well as acting as a centre of excellence for the end to end logistics process at HPC. Our Client are the intelligent owners of the logistics process and strategy, operating as an integrated enabler for the successful delivery of the HPC project.

The Construction Logistics Lead reports directly to the Senior Construction Logistics Manager and is responsible for overseeing and managing the logistics operations for the delivery of permanent materials for designated construction areas. The role ensures alignment between construction schedules and logistics workflows, prioritising safety, compliance, and efficiency to support timely project delivery.

The role of Construction Logistics Lead is accountable for ensuring the effective delivery of materials where they are needed on site, and prioritising cross-Project demand for Logistics services. In addition, the lead will aim to deliver seamless Logistics support for construction activities and will be allocated to a specific construction area. They will lead the Construction Logistics team within the functional scope of their specific construction area and take direct line management responsibility of a team which is currently under design.
