Commissioning Engineer x 2 6 month contract (OUTSIDE IR35) £(Apply online only) per day LTD Sustainable Talent have engaged exclusively with an Industry leader who design, install and commission large scale solar PV farms and battery energy storage systems (BESS) for their clients. Supplying renewable energy from solar power plants enables local communities to reduce costs and reduce their carbon footprint. It also means they can provide off-grid power in remote areas that can be sold back to the grid or used locally at a cheaper price than grid-supplied energy. As a result of on-going projects they are currently looking to bring on board an experienced Commissioning Engineer to join our growing Renewable Energy team. The successful candidate will be responsible for the commissioning of large-scale solar PV farms and battery systems across the UK. Main Responsibilities * Ensuring as-built drawings/documents are marked up correctly and updated where necessary. * Produce all the commissioning documentation, including programme and test procedures. * Manage all the commissioning activities required within a large solar farm project (from HV connection to modules and auxiliary systems such as active management system, SCADA, etc.) * Manage G99 /G100 requirements * Manage interface activities with ICP * Facilitate transition from construction phase to operations & maintenance (O&M) * Support contrac…
