CNC Lathe Operator / Setter
Location: Portsmouth
Hours: 37.5 hours a week. Monday to Friday
Rotating shifts 06:00 - 14:00 / 14:00 - 22:00
Salary: £20.76 an hour - Temporary to Permanent
Acorn by Synergie is currently seeking an experienced CNC Machinist, required by their client, a leading global manufacturing and engineering company. This role offers full-time work on a temporary to permanent basis. Permanent contracts are available for suitable candidates at the Client's discretion once 12 weeks has been completed.

What are we looking for?
- Experienced CNC machinist that can set and operate a CNC lathe (fanuc) as well as deburring all of produced work
- Be able to prove out new programs on a fanuc CNC Lathe with minor program alterations
- Ability to read engineering drawings and carry out self-inspection using measuring equipment
- Must have knowledge of working with stainless steel
- Ideally experience on a 2 axis CNC lathes
- Ability to communicate effectively across all departments and functions
- Must be of a willing and flexible nature
- This job may entail working on more than one machine within the machine shop
- To be punctual and reliable
