We are looking for a Software Category manager / Senior Buyer who can support the Head of Procurement to successfully deliver a procurement service, including implementing the right level of policy and process. They are currently implementing a variety of new projects to support their growth.Key responsibilities of the role include:Manage and track the renewal of software licenses, ensuring renewals are handled proactively and on time.Conduct thorough reviews of software license agreements, ensuring compliance with legal, financial, and operational requirements.Identify key risks, obligations, and opportunities within each agreement prior to requesting legal input.Develop the company’s Software Asset Management (SAM) roadmap, ensuring it aligns with business goals and IT strategies.Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define key milestones, goals, and initiatives for implementing software asset management best practices.This is a hybrid role with 3 days working in the Central London office, 2 from home.
