Job Title: Carpentry Technician Salary: £26,484 Location: Stratford Upon Avon An exciting opportunity has arisen for a permanent full-time Carpentry Technician/Demonstrator You'd be joining the education provider's highly-regarded construction team, working alongside other talented teaching staff passing on their skills to the next generation. Your role could be either a fantastic pathway into a teaching career, or just a highly rewarding permanent role with a fantastic college. Responsibilities Help out students in Practical Lessons for the Construction Department. Safeguarding responsibilities. To prepare & set-up physical materials and equipment for workshop activities. To produce a preventative maintenance schedule and carry out such maintenance on all tools and workshop equipment. To order workshop equipment and materials in conjunction with the team. To maintain the workshop to current H&S standards Qualifications Level 2 / Advanced craft in Carpentry or other related qualification of an equal level is ideal.
