Overview: We are looking for an experienced Bid Engineer to join our team in Sheffield. This is a fantastic opportunity offering clear career progression to Bid Manager. You'll play a key role in managing and delivering competitive bids, tenders, and proposals for low-voltage (LV) electrical projects. Working closely with internal teams and external stakeholders, you'll help us secure new contracts and drive business growth.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead bid submissions - manage the full bid lifecycle, including technical queries, document preparation, and deadline tracking.
  • Prepare PQQs and tenders - ensure accuracy, compliance, and alignment with client requirements.
  • Develop commercial proposals - create costed bids with input from engineering, procurement, and commercial teams.
  • Support sales - assist in building strong client proposals and identifying opportunities.
  • Collaborate with teams - work cross-functionally to improve competitiveness and efficiency.
