The Auditor role requires an experienced knowledge of risk in the Asset Based Lending industry with the ability to identify key risks and make recommendations for risk reducing actions to the operations and credit teams. Whilst primary responsibility will be the auditing of existing client portfolio, there may be the requirement to undertake new business surveys where required. The role would suit an individual looking to further develop their career in the Asset Based Lending Industry and in future help develop the audit and survey function as the lending book grows.
Responsibilities:
- Undertake audits of client debtor facilities identifying lending risk issues and make recommendations to operations/credit team to help mitigate and minimise any potential bad debt.
- Maintain high-quality service to clients as an extension of the operations team.
- Undertake new business surveys when required and make recommendations and assist with the structuring of new facilities alongside the sales team.
- All activity is undertaken within the scope of overseeing the maintenance of the collateral being funded by the company.
- Understand the company and the wider Bank’s products and services, and proactively identify and action sales opportunities in order to best meet customer needs.
- Adherence with the Bank’s AML policies and procedures, with vigilance at all times of the conduct of customers.
