We are seeking an experienced Senior Underwriter to join our client's Binder Management team. This role will be based in their Surrey office on a hybrid basis. The primary focus of this position is to underwrite key accounts, drive new business growth, and ensure the operational effectiveness of the Public Sector Delegated Authority Agreements (DAA).
Responsibilities
- Manage day-to-day servicing and growth of Public Sector DAA
- Administer tasks in compliance with insurer procedures
- Process, record, and confirm instructions efficiently
- Provide regular updates and management information for each DAA
- Identify under-insurance and potential gaps in client cover
- Ensure DAA are fit for purpose and provide feedback on product development
- Support testing requirements of system DAA developments
- Comply with regulatory requirements and company procedures
- Maintain positive working relationships with clients, colleagues, insurers, and suppliers
- Identify training needs and development opportunities for team members
- Stay updated with technical, legal, and market developments through training
- Report problems outside of authority or experience level promptly
