Key Objectives
- Ensure Health & Safety is adhered to throughout all areas of production.
- Assist in delivering targets across all stages of production.
- Deputise duties for Nightshift Manager in his absence.
Responsibilities Include:
- Record near misses, unsafe acts and unsafe conditions.
- Ensure Health and Safety procedures are being adhered to in all areas.
- Carry out disciplinary investigations/hearings.
- Support new starters joining the business, working with nightshift training mentor to monitor progress.
- Carry out performance reviews and one to one meetings.
- Communicate constructive feedback.
- Maintain strong relationships with all other departments within the company.
- Consistently manage performance with a firm but fair approach.
- Be a strong and supportive role model, providing coaching where necessary.
- Maintain a positive, resilient and optimistic approach to unforeseen circumstances.
- Provide a positive and motivating approach to get the most from the team.
Production
- Work with the Nightshift Manager to set and achieve targets and support the overall running of the shop floor during the shift.
- Oversee key production processes across all stages.
- Monitor and review time in motion studies where required.
