Shifts: Monday to Thursday Nights 7.30pm - 6.15am

Key Objectives

  • Ensure Health & Safety is adhered to throughout all areas of production.
  • Assist in delivering targets across all stages of production.
  • Deputise duties for Nightshift Manager in his absence.

Responsibilities Include:

  • Record near misses, unsafe acts and unsafe conditions.
  • Ensure Health and Safety procedures are being adhered to in all areas.
  • Carry out disciplinary investigations/hearings.
  • Support new starters joining the business, working with nightshift training mentor to monitor progress.
  • Carry out performance reviews and one to one meetings.
  • Communicate constructive feedback.
  • Maintain strong relationships with all other departments within the company.
  • Consistently manage performance with a firm but fair approach.
  • Be a strong and supportive role model, providing coaching where necessary.
  • Maintain a positive, resilient and optimistic approach to unforeseen circumstances.
  • Provide a positive and motivating approach to get the most from the team.

Production

  • Work with the Nightshift Manager to set and achieve targets and support the overall running of the shop floor during the shift.
  • Oversee key production processes across all stages.
  • Monitor and review time in motion studies where required.
