Assistant Garment Technologist

Job DescriptionTHE ROLEThe Assistant Garment Technologist supports the technical development and industrialisation of womenswear garments, ensuring quality, fit, and construction align with brand standards. This role provides essential administrative and technical support to the team, maintaining accurate records and assisting in the smooth progression from pre production sample to production. KEY RESPONSABILITIES OF THE ROLE Assist in garment fittings, measuring, and quality checks under supervision.Maintain and update measurement charts, fit notes, and technical specifications.Support the tracking and organisation of SMS (showman samples), pre-production, and production samples.Help prepare for fit sessions, taking notes and assisting with garment reference materials.Communicate basic technical updates to suppliers and internal teams, escalating complex issues when needed.Assist in ensuring garment construction aligns with industrial production standards.
