Our client with a full order book and exciting projects ahead, are looking for qualified and experienced Asbestos Removal Operatives, based in Southern England. Their clients' portfolio is very varied and ranges from NHS trusts, local government, Railway, MOD, schools, housing associations, construction & demolition contractors, and commercial businesses.
Main Duties & Responsibilities:
- To carry out removal works as instructed by Supervisors and Management.
- To coordinate and communicate with the other divisions of the business to ensure the smooth running of all contracts.
- To carry out required pre-use checks on equipment they are authorised to operate or use.
- To ensure that plant tools and equipment are de-contaminated and transported in accordance with the procedures prior to off hiring or placing back in stores.
- To assist in other areas of the business as and when required.

- Full Asbestos Removal training.
- Full Face Fits and Service Certificates.
- Asbestos Lung function medical.
- Experience of working on demolition/asbestos removal sites.
- Good communication and organisational skills with the ability to work in a methodical and calm manner.
