About the Role:
Join a cutting-edge defence technology team as an Antenna Design Engineer, contributing to the development of next-generation antenna systems for advanced seeker and datalink applications. This role offers an exciting opportunity to work with the latest antenna design techniques, including additive layer manufacturing, and be involved from computer modelling through to prototype build, testing, and pre-production.
You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams including RF Engineers, Seeker Systems, and EO/IR Sensor specialists to deliver innovative solutions under tight deadlines in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design novel antennas for multi-mode seekers utilizing wideband active and passive sensors
- Perform detailed electromagnetic modelling using Ansys HFSS and conduct complex antenna simulations
- Analyze simulation data with MATLAB and oversee anechoic chamber testing
