Our well established client has an excellent permanent opportunity based in Sheffield. This is a hybrid opportunity with the need to be on-site 2 days per week. This role will be one of two Service Managers responsible for certain work packages and will be a 50/50 split between Service Management & Scrum mastery.

Core skills and experience:

  • You should have a solid background in traditional IT Service Management (ITSM).
  • Service Delivery: Oversee daily operation of IT services.
  • Manage incidents, problems, changes, and service performance.
  • Maintain service reporting.
  • Coordinate with technical teams, vendors, and stakeholders.
  • Ensure compliance with ITIL processes and governance.
  • Change Management: Have the ability to act as the SCRUM Master.
  • Facilitate Scrum ceremonies.
  • Remove blockers & issues for the development team.
  • Coach teams in agile principles.
  • Support the Head of Applications with backlog refinement – For future sprints.
  • Promote continuous improvement and team self-organisation.
