We are representing a Global leader in cloud telephony for the hospitality sector, supporting over 3,000 hotels globally including major brands like Hilton, Marriott, Hyatt, and Accor. Their technology helps enhance guest experiences while simplifying operations.
The Role
They are looking for a Unified Communications Engineer with strong Mitel experience to join their growing technical team. You will be responsible for installation, configuration, and support of Mitel systems and their own hosted voice solutions. The role includes remote and on-site work across a wide range of customer projects mainly around London with some national & international travel.
What You Will Do
- Install and support Mitel phone systems (MiVoice Business, MiCollab, MiCC)
- Configure their hosted UC platform and related voice/data systems
- Conduct on-site surveys and pre-install planning mainly around WLAN
- Provide project leadership on key deployments
- Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues, both remotely and in the field
- Support internal training and documentation as needed
- Work closely with clients and internal teams to ensure smooth delivery
- Handle escalated technical queries through to resolution
Requirements
- Hands-on Mitel experience with relevant certifications
- Good understanding of IP networking, SIP, and diagnostic tools (e.g. Wireshark)
- Confident in SIP tracing, debugging, and root cause analysis
- Excellent communication and documentation skills
- Commercial awareness and a customer-first mindset
- Familiarity with hosted UC platforms ideally BroadWorks, enterprise networking such as Cisco or HP and Wi-Fi such as Aruba or Ruckus.
- Experience with tools like Ekahau for Wi-Fi surveys
- Salesforce knowledge is a plus
