We are recruiting for a SC Cleared Infrastructure Architect on an initial 3 month contract to work for a leading Train network based in London. Senior Infrastructure Architect Strong infrastructure architecture skills in architecting technology components across software, infrastructure and networks. • Ability to take a loose set of requirements and build a high level architecture using common standards. Refining the architecture as more information is discovered, decisions identified and choices are made. • Proven ability to analyse complex components, identify decision points, draw conclusions and produce design artefact’s • Ability to communicate effectively, both orally and in writing, with people within the delivery team including project managers, business analysts, developers, and testers. • Have a detailed understanding of IT systems with specific experience of designing infrastructure solutions in two of: 1. Private Cloud Infrastructure – Compute, Storage, Network, Operating Systems and Databases 2. Public Cloud – IaaS, PaaS and SaaS particularly with AWS and Azure 3. Digital Workplace – O365, Virtual Desktop, Directory Services and Identity Management 4. Infrastructure Management, Automation and Monitoring Excellent understanding of structured architecture frameworks such as TOGAF and experience of architecture design and governance best practice Skills : VMware Azure Stack HCI – VXRail Windows Server, SQL Oracle, Redhat Storage (EMC)
