We are looking for a detail-oriented and proactive Finance Assistant to support our finance team in managing day-to-day financial operations. This role will involve processing transactions and ensuring accuracy in financial records. The ideal candidate will have a keen eye for detail and a passion for numbers.
Key responsibilities
- Process invoices, expenses, and payments accurately and in a timely manner.
- Help with VAT returns and other tax-related filings.
- Reconcile bank statements and financial transactions.
- Support payroll processing and ensure compliance with tax regulations.
- Assist in monitoring accounts receivable and payable.
- Support the finance team in audits and compliance-related activities.
- Work closely with other departments to ensure smooth financial operations.
The ideal individual will have
- Strong knowledge of financial principles, bookkeeping, and accounting procedures.
- Good communication skills, both written and verbal
- Experience with accounting software (e.g., Xero, QuickBooks, SAP) is desirable.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other financial tools.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
- The ability to demonstrate flexibility when required
