We're looking for a proactive, personable and commercially minded Demand Generation & Growth Specialist to join our Marketing team. This is a marketing-led role focused on creating qualified pipeline for Clevertouch's services, software products and event technology solutions. You'll identify organisations that could benefit from our products and services, engage key decision-makers with relevant and personalised outreach, and generate meaningful sales conversations for our consultants and salespeople to nurture and progress.

Unlike a traditional sales development role, this position sits within Marketing and plays a key role in executing our demand generation and account-based marketing (ABM) strategy. You'll work closely with Marketing and Sales to engage target accounts through a combination of research, outbound outreach, event follow-up, social selling and campaign activation. Success is measured by the quality of conversations you create and the pipeline you help generate. This is not about high-volume cold calls, but about targeted, personal communications with the right people in the right organisations.

RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE:

  • Build Pipeline
    • Identify organisations that fit our ideal customer profile, initially for our software products and event technology services, and later for our full-service offering.
    • Research a dynamic, named target account list, and the buying groups and key stakeholders within them to uncover potential opportunities.
    • Execute personalised outbound outreach via telephone, email and LinkedIn.
    • Generate qualified meetings and opportunities for the sales teams.
    • Maintain a healthy pipeline of engaged prospects across agreed target accounts.
  • Support Marketing Campaigns
    • Follow up leads generated through webinars, events, content downloads and marketing campaigns.
    • Work closely with the Marketing team to activate ABM programmes for strategic accounts.
    • Personalise outreach using campaign content, customer stories and industry insights.
    • Help maximise ROI from marketing activity by ensuring every qualified engagement receives personalised, timely follow-up.
  • Collaboration & Market Intelligence
    • Gather insight from conversations with prospects and share feedback with Marketing and Sales to refine messaging, campaigns and targeting.
    • Identify emerging market trends, customer challenges and competitor activity.
    • Ensure CRM records and engagement data are accurate and up to date.

ABOUT YOU:

You'll enjoy starting conversations and creating opportunities. You're focused, organised and motivated by connecting businesses with solutions that genuinely solve their challenges.

YOU'LL IDEALLY HAVE:

  • Experience in outbound prospecting, demand generation, business development or lead generation within a B2B environment.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Confidence engaging senior marketing and technology professionals.
  • A personable approach with the ability to ask thoughtful questions and uncover business needs.
  • Experience using CRM and sales engagement platforms.
  • Strong research and organisational skills.
  • A collaborative mindset and desire to work as part of an integrated Marketing team.

Experience in marketing technology (MarTech), SaaS, software or B2B technology services would be advantageous but isn't essential.

THE PACKAGE & BENEFITS:

  • Competitive salary + commission
  • Hybrid working (3 days in the office, 2 days WFH)
  • Rewarding company quarterly bonus scheme
  • Fantastic training and development available including funded certifications on MA platforms
  • Holiday entitlement - 25 days increasing to 28 with length of service
  • State of the Art office with onsite gym and wellness studio
  • Lunch provided for 3 days a week
  • Regular company socials
  • CleverRewards – discounts at a host of retailers, exclusively for Clevertouch employees
  • Cycle to work scheme
  • Pension scheme
  • EMI Shareholder scheme

As a Top 100 company to work for, Clevertouch constantly seeks to add to the list of benefits.
