What you'll do:
- Engage with clients to understand their financial goals and assess their mortgage and protection needs
- Explain mortgage products, interest rates and repayment options clearly and confidently
- Guide clients through applications accurately and efficiently, ensuring all required documentation is collected
- Assess clients' financial information to determine eligibility and affordability
- Work with lenders, underwriters and other professionals to facilitate timely approvals
- Stay current on market trends, lending policies and regulatory requirements to give up-to-date advice
- Follow up regularly with clients throughout the process, answering questions and providing support
- Maintain accurate records and ensure every case meets network and regulatory compliance standards
What we're looking for:
- Minimum 1 year's experience as a practising Mortgage Adviser
- CeMAP qualified (or equivalent), with the authorisations required to advise on mortgages
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to explain complex information simply
- Strong organisation, with the ability to manage multiple client cases at once
- A proactive, client-first attitude and a genuine passion for helping people
- Confidence working independently as well as within a collaborative team
- Right to work in the UK
Desirable:
- Experience advising on protection alongside mortgages
- Familiarity with mortgage regulations and network compliance requirements
- Existing client relationships or a track record built on referrals
