Clever Energy are an award winning energy practice, rapidly expanding not only our client base but also our range of services.

During this exciting period of growth we are looking to recruit an experienced Billing Manager preferably with knowledge of the energy market or similar. We may look at someone from an accounting background with transferrable skills.

Your duties will include:

1. Downloading meter readings and uploading to a bespoke billing platform
2. Produce accurate bills based on individual energy consumption.
3. Understand differences in billing units and calculate conversions when required
4. Analyse meter readings and provide checks and balances as to accuracy
5. Work with customers and colleagues to identify errors and necessary correction
6. Knowledge of credits is an advantage
7. Data analysis to report on trends including usage, cost, errors
8. Build, develop and manage key relationships internally and externally
9. Championing the business and its class leading service delivery
10. Use, update and be involved in new IT systems rollouts
11. Contribute ideas to improve systems, processes and efficiencies
12. Be aware of, and work within, corporate and industry standards

You must have excellent Excel skills including data manipulation including V-Lookups, and pivots.

Knowledge of Xero, Sage and Customer Relationship Databases (CRM) an advantage.

Knowledge of the energy industry preferred.

Strong interpersonal and customer skills.

Experience of B2B and B2C.

Immediate start, permanent role.
