Requirements

  • 3+ years of professional Unity development experience with strong C# skills.
  • Shipped at least one game or interactive product; PvP or multiplayer experience is strongly preferred.
  • Hands-on experience with a networking solution such as Netcode for GameObjects, Photon, Mirror, or similar.
  • Solid understanding of game architecture, state management, and performance optimization.
  • Familiarity with version control (Git) and collaborative development workflows.
  • Self-directed, communicative, and comfortable owning systems end to end.
  • Nice to have: experience with client-side prediction and server reconciliation.
  • Nice to have: knowledge of dedicated server hosting or backend services for games.
  • Nice to have: shader work or experience with stylized/low-poly rendering.
  • Nice to have: background in competitive or fast-action multiplayer titles.

Responsibilities

  • Build and refine core gameplay mechanics, combat, and player controls in Unity (C#).
  • Design and implement multiplayer/networking systems for real-time PvP, including matchmaking, state sync, and lag compensation.
  • Optimize performance across target platforms to keep gameplay smooth and low-latency.
  • Collaborate with designers and artists to integrate low-poly assets, animations, and effects.
  • Write clean, maintainable, well-structured code and contribute to architecture decisions.
  • Help diagnose and fix bugs, and improve stability as we scale toward launch.

We are building a fast-paced, player-vs-player game with a clean low-poly art style and are looking for an experienced Unity developer to help take it from prototype to a polished, shippable product. You will own core gameplay and multiplayer systems, work closely with our design and art team, and have real influence over how the game plays and feels.
