Requirements
- Strong enterprise networking experience within complex multi-site environments.
- Advanced troubleshooting capability across network and security technologies.
- Strong Cisco networking experience, including Nexus switching environments.
- Knowledge of routing protocols including BGP, OSPF, and EIGRP.
- Experience supporting enterprise wireless environments, ideally Aruba.
- Strong understanding of firewall technologies such as Palo Alto or Fortinet.
- Experience working with MPLS, VPN, QoS, and WAN optimisation technologies.
- Knowledge of network monitoring and management platforms such as SolarWinds or Cisco Prime.
- Experience supporting secure enterprise environments with strong operational controls.
- Ability to work effectively with third-party vendors and global technical teams.
- CCNP or equivalent-level knowledge would be highly beneficial.
Responsibilities
- Deliver 3rd line support across a global enterprise network environment.
- Troubleshoot complex networking and connectivity issues across LAN, WAN, VPN, and wireless technologies.
- Support the ongoing availability, resilience, and performance of critical network infrastructure.
- Work closely with third-party providers to investigate and resolve technical issues.
- Support implementation and upgrade activity across network and security platforms.
- Ensure network services align with security standards and operational controls.
- Produce technical documentation, implementation plans, and support procedures.
- Collaborate with infrastructure, cloud, security, and service teams across multiple regions.
- Participate in an on-call rota and support occasional out-of-hours maintenance activity where required.
