Requirements

  • Strong enterprise networking experience within complex multi-site environments.
  • Advanced troubleshooting capability across network and security technologies.
  • Strong Cisco networking experience, including Nexus switching environments.
  • Knowledge of routing protocols including BGP, OSPF, and EIGRP.
  • Experience supporting enterprise wireless environments, ideally Aruba.
  • Strong understanding of firewall technologies such as Palo Alto or Fortinet.
  • Experience working with MPLS, VPN, QoS, and WAN optimisation technologies.
  • Knowledge of network monitoring and management platforms such as SolarWinds or Cisco Prime.
  • Experience supporting secure enterprise environments with strong operational controls.
  • Ability to work effectively with third-party vendors and global technical teams.
  • CCNP or equivalent-level knowledge would be highly beneficial.

Responsibilities

  • Deliver 3rd line support across a global enterprise network environment.
  • Troubleshoot complex networking and connectivity issues across LAN, WAN, VPN, and wireless technologies.
  • Support the ongoing availability, resilience, and performance of critical network infrastructure.
  • Work closely with third-party providers to investigate and resolve technical issues.
  • Support implementation and upgrade activity across network and security platforms.
  • Ensure network services align with security standards and operational controls.
  • Produce technical documentation, implementation plans, and support procedures.
  • Collaborate with infrastructure, cloud, security, and service teams across multiple regions.
  • Participate in an on-call rota and support occasional out-of-hours maintenance activity where required.
