Location: Knaresborough, North Yorkshire - working locally, nationally and occasionally overseas.
Salary: £32,000 to £37,500 a year, dependent upon experience, plus performance-related bonuses, private health care (includes spouse and children if applicable), gym access and pension.
About us: Clever Association is an award-winning audio visual technology consultancy, designing and installing bespoke entertainment and technology systems into high-end homes and commercial environments since 2003. We design, install and maintain a variety of emerging technologies including lighting control, home cinemas, multi-room audio, CCTV and energy saving solutions.
About the role: This role would suit someone with great problem solving and communication skills, with a can-do attitude, who loves technology. You will be working alongside our existing team on homes, hospitality and corporate projects across the UK, and occasionally overseas. If you are organised, conscientious and passionate about technology then we need you.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Termination and testing of cables on project sites
- Installation of audio-visual, network and control equipment
- Assembling and wiring equipment racks
- Fault finding and testing equipment such as Crestron, RTI, AMX and Lutron. Full training will be provided where necessary
- Liaising with staff, clients, trades, suppliers and other design professionals
- Mentoring and managing junior engineers
You will need to spend nights away from home when working on projects.
Qualifications and Skills: To thrive in this role, you will need:
- A passion for technology
- Experience in the custom installation and audio-visual industry
- Knowledge of cables and connectors and test procedures
- Knowledge of audio-visual signals
- A practical aptitude and be willing to undergo further training, where necessary
- A confident and professional communication style when dealing with discerning clients
- A full UK driving license
