We are a growing and progressive mortgage brokerage based in Hertford, with a dedicated team of 24 professionals and counting. Since our establishment in 2018, we’ve specialised in providing tailored mortgage solutions, helping clients secure the best financing options available.
You’ll be responsible for helping people find and apply for the right mortgage for them, according to their situation and finances. You’ll be dealing with estate agents, valuers and mortgage lenders, keeping up to date with the current market and legislation and working closely with your customers.
The successful candidate will display a dedicated and committed approach to building a successful mortgage advisory business. A good credit history is essential, you must also be free from any regulatory breaches and not be banned from accessing any mortgage lenders.
- Knowledge of common mortgage products, programs and procedures
- Understanding of mortgage underwriting
- Experience of Microsoft Office programs
- Chartered Insurance Institute (CII) or Certificate in Mortgage Advice (Cert MA) or Certificate in Mortgage Advice and Practice (CeMAP)
The ideal advisor will have an existing client bank, although this is not essential as marketing support will be provided. At Clever Advice, we’re all about helping our advisors be the best they can be.
Remote working: Whole of Market Mortgage and Protection panel: Never submit another mortgage application or write a suitability letter. Pre-qualified mortgage leads may be provided from time to time but this is not guaranteed and is subject to availability; you will be expected to source your own business in order to grow your client bank.
