Are you passionate about improving health around the world? We are! Rabin Martin is in search of an energetic individual to join our team of smart, curious global health professionals. We are looking for a Vice President to lead our London office and manage a range of global health initiatives in a client-services environment. The ideal candidate displays superior leadership, organizational, problem-solving, and interpersonal skills. Candidates for this role must have excellent project management and coordination skills and will have a minimum of ten years of relevant full-time work experience.

The Vice President and Head, London Office, is a member of the Rabin Martin leadership team, with responsibility for helping to guide the overall growth of the organization, with an emphasis on leading the London office and building a portfolio of business across Europe; client and team leadership, strategy and business development; engagement and growth both externally and within the Omnicom Network of companies. The Vice President and Head, London Office reports to the President.

Main Responsibilities/Tasks

  1. Firm Leadership:
    In role as leadership team member, help design and manage Rabin Martin’s (near and long-term) growth strategy:
    Collaborate with other RM leaders to grow the global business.
    Innovate around offerings and expand scope of delivery capabilities.
    Develop and implement best practices for client service and quality delivery.
    Develop, introduce and implement best practices and tools to optimize the business’s standard operating procedures.
    Lead firm initiatives and identify opportunities to invite and include talent across the organization and encourage and support participation.
    Recruit, retain, develop and lead high-performing teams that sell, execute and deliver to RM clients in the global health and its adjacent sectors.
  2. Client Growth and Management:
    Develop, maintain and manage engagements:
    Set aspiration and goals within client portfolio/engagement; accountable for revenue and strategic oversight of service and delivery.
    Understand client business objectives to ensure RM is positioned appropriately; Identify and secure opportunities to develop and enhance the scope of work for existing clients and enhance the firm’s relationship with existing clients.
    Network and develop relationships with new client opportunities; Identify and secure new client opportunities.
    Develop and lead internal talent and resources to execute against vision and plan for RM and portfolio clients.
    Encourage the development of new ideas and solutions. Empower others to share new and creative ideas for consideration. Use new resources and methods to find information and innovative solutions.

Qualifications

Candidates should have the following qualities/skills:
Ability to work independently and in a fast-paced team setting to respond effectively to client needs.
Demonstrate agile thinking and creativity, and a willingness to create and advocate for new ways of thinking and working.
Preferred, but not required, experience working in a client services environment and in highly matrixed organizations.
Ability to manage multiple competing priorities.
Proven ability to develop, maintain and grow client portfolios/engagements.
Proven ability to support, develop and grow junior staff.

Preferred experience, skills, and requirements:
Master’s degree or equivalent preferred, Bachelor’s degree required, with at least 10 years of relevant full-time work experience.
Actively engaged in and or familiar with UK and European health environment.
Highly preferred experience in areas of public health, such as Health Policy, Health Equity, Health care financing and/or health economics, market access, emerging market commercial experience.
Access to, and experience working with, a broad spectrum of business, NGO, and government leaders.
ESG/Sustainability experience inside or working with a company or sustainability organization a bonus.
