We’re Hiring, Are you ready for a new challenge? Aon is currently recruiting a UK FSG Team Leader to join our Global Broking Centre in London. You will be primarily responsible for ensuring the provision of high quality, innovative client service using a deep understanding of client needs to deliver superior solutions. This is a hybrid role which will involve some office-based working and some home-based working.
What the day will look like
As a Team Leader, some of your key responsibilities will involve:
- Aon United
Understand the Aon United agenda, support it actively and drive mindset change within the business. Support Aon UK Ltd. initiatives, contribute to and participate in Aon-wide groups, committees, ad hoc project teams and other bodies. Continually build GBC and Aon IQ and drive this behaviour in the team. Proactively cross-sell risk management, claims and other Aon products and services to new and existing clients. - Thought Leadership
Work with relevant collaborators to develop and enhance the competitive positioning of Aon relative to its competitors. Build effective working relationships both internally and externally, to ensure the best of Aon is brought to clients and prospective clients. Be a representative of, and spokesperson for, Aon on external industry bodies and in the media as required. - People & Culture
At all times act as a role model and as an ambassador. Lead the team, ensuring that their objectives are aligned with the overall BU strategy. Coach senior members of the team and develop a robust succession plan. Ensure that performance management and training and competence processes are adhered to. - Innovation
Articulate the FSG and Commercial Risk value proposition to business, clients and network. Champion the implementation and usage of new systems and processes into the business unit to drive efficiency. - Team Performance
Implement the strategic and annual plans for the team consistent with relevant targets, ensuring plans are in place to deliver year on year performance improvement. Identify and follow up key business development opportunities both within existing lines of business and new channels or sectors. - Client / Network Engagement
Ensure the Client is at the heart of business propositions and practice, and they are treated fairly and ethically. Lead and champion the deployment of Client Promise for direct clients. Accountable for ensuring network/clients receive best in class service in a cost-effective manner. Provide claims advocacy services on behalf of key clients. - Aon Growth Strategy
Contribute to the development and implement the Aon Broking strategy by driving growth through utilisation of speciality, broking, technology and talent levers. Work with key internal and external stakeholders to identify and secure potential clients. Work proactively and collaboratively with business unit leaders and network partners on RFP/Tender and other major client opportunities. Identify and develop opportunities for cross Aon Limited co-operation and synergies. - Compliance & Risk Management
Adhere to all compliance related requirements throughout the business area and seek opportunities for operational improvement. Ensure all agreed practices and tools are actively and consistently applied. Lead by example by ensuring own activity complies with regulatory requirements and business procedures. Accountable for all colleagues to be actively involved in raising awareness of non-conformances and ideas for improvements. - Team / People Leadership
Maintain Discipline, Improve Quality. Diversity, equity and inclusion is embedded into employee life cycle, creating a truly inclusive team culture. Continually drive focus on enhancing the colleague experience – measured through the global support survey and other key people metrics. Drive adherence to the Aon Performance & Reward Management processes and philosophy, calibrating performance through mid- and end-year for the business.
