Executive Director – Cyber
We’re hiring! Aon is currently recruiting an Executive Director to join our Cyber team in London. The Executive Director will be primarily responsible for working collaboratively with the Team Leader and in line with the Global Broking Centre broking strategy. The role is responsible for marketing strategy on placements for a specified book of business. This role can be based in London or surrounding area with the opportunity to work from home in a hybrid fashion.

The Global Broking Centre:
The Global Broking Centre in London / Chelmsford is an integral part of Aon’s global broking strategy. The GBC provides colleagues from across the Aon network with access to specialist brokers and client managers, dedicated client solutions and thought leadership, and significant global insurance capacity.
About the Role:
Your impact as Executive Director:
- Understand the Aon United agenda, support it actively and drive mindset change within the business.
- Build effective working relationships with internal and external stakeholders to ensure the best of Aon and the GBC are brought to clients and prospective clients.
- Actively promote and articulate Aon’s holistic cyber proposition both internally and with clients.
- Senior client stewardship and support on offensive and defensive RFPs.
- Lead marketing strategies in collaboration with US and Ex US sides of the Cyber & Commercial E&O team.
- Lead on existing and new facilities to include liaison with our Private Equity and AMATs teams in collaboration with US and Ex US departments.
- Oversee the overarching London market broking strategy and provide alignment with the UK Corporate team.
- Act as data and analytics lead (and data outputs) at our team level, working with Claims to collate and deploy data.
- Work in accordance with the Aon UK Limited Risk Management Framework and compliance with the Aon UK Limited policies.
About You:
Your knowledge and expertise:
- Excellent understanding of London insurance market dynamics and core processes.
- Excellent technical cyber insurance knowledge.
- Ability to use insurance industry IT systems to efficiently deliver client service.
- Ability to interact with and influence relevant stakeholders.
- High level of numeracy.
- Excellent understanding and application of compliance and FCA regulation.
