We are focused on the big questions such as, how can we help the labour market recover from the pandemic and ensure everyone has fair access to good work? How do we help more people to develop their skills in a changing jobs market?

This is a key role within **MEMBERS ONLY**SIGN UP NOW***., leading L&W’s labour market analysis, ensuring programmes are underpinned by rigorous economic analysis, and part of our leadership team. It will have a particular focus on designing and leading high quality impact evaluations, helping us generate evidence on what works in employment and skills.

Responsibilities:

  1. Lead labour market analysis and impact evaluations.
  2. Design and deliver projects related to employment and skills.
  3. Support the leadership team with rigorous economic analysis.

Qualifications:

The ideal candidate will bring a strong understanding of labour market economics, advanced econometric skills, a track record of designing and delivering projects, and an interest in the policy context for learning, skills and employment.

Benefits:

L&W offers generous benefits including a Local Government Pension Scheme (LGPS) with 18% employer contributions, generous holiday entitlement of 25 days (rising to 27 after 5 years’ service), plus 8 bank holidays and 6 grace days (including Christmas shutdown) per year. We operate an annual pay review, including opportunities for pay progression and bonuses.
