Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site role for Nursery Practitioners at Clevelands Preparatory School, based in Bolton. The role involves providing a safe, nurturing, and stimulating environment for children in the Early Years setting. Daily responsibilities include:

  • Supporting children’s learning and development
  • Implementing age-appropriate educational activities
  • Maintaining accurate records of children’s progress

The successful candidate(s) will also ensure adherence to all safeguarding, health, and safety protocols.

Qualifications

  • Experience working with children in an Early Years setting, along with a qualification in childcare or equivalent

  • Excellent communication, teamwork, and interpersonal skills for engaging with children, parents, and staff effectively
  • Knowledge of safeguarding, health, safety, and welfare requirements in childcare settings

  • Reliable, professional, and enthusiastic approach to working in a school environment
  • Paediatric first aid certification is beneficial but not required
  • Experience in independent schools or Early Years education is an advantage
