Are you highly organised, customer focused and looking for an opportunity to develop your career within HR and recruitment?

We are looking for a Resourcing Assistant to join our busy Resourcing Team and help us deliver a professional, efficient and first-class service across the organisation.

The role

As a Resourcing Assistant, you will provide vital administrative support throughout the full recruitment and resourcing lifecycle. Acting as a first point of contact for resourcing queries, you will work closely with candidates, colleagues and other departments to ensure processes are completed accurately, efficiently and on time.

Your responsibilities will include maintaining resourcing systems and records, supporting pre-employment checks and onboarding, responding to queries and assisting with workforce planning administration. You will also support recruitment activity including interviews, assessment centres, recruitment events and positive action workshops.

Working alongside our Resourcing Specialists and wider People & Development colleagues, you will have the opportunity to get involved in a variety of HR administration activities and contribute ideas for improving the way we work.

What we’re looking for

You will have experience of working in a busy office and customer service environment, with excellent organisational and communication skills. You’ll be confident managing competing priorities and working to deadlines while maintaining a high level of accuracy and attention to detail.

You will also:

  • Have knowledge and understanding of GDPR.
  • Be confident using Microsoft Word and Excel.
  • Be able to plan and prioritise your workload and use your own initiative.
  • Be comfortable communicating with people at all levels, both inside and outside the organisation.
  • Have the ability to quickly learn new systems and working practices.
  • Be able to build effective working relationships and work successfully both independently and as part of a team.
  • Be committed to your own continued professional development.
  • Be flexible when required to support recruitment activities, which may occasionally take place during evenings or weekends.

Why join us?

This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys working with people, thrives in a busy environment and wants to build their knowledge and experience within Resourcing and HR.

You’ll become part of a supportive team where no two days are quite the same, playing an important role in helping us attract, recruit and welcome the people we need to deliver our services.

If you are organised, enthusiastic and committed to delivering excellent customer service, we’d love to hear from you.

Interviews are scheduled to take place early to mid November 2026.
